Belize or Gibraltar parent company

Hi folks,

Can a Belize IBC be the 100% shareholder of a local/domestic Belize limited company, along with businesses within the EU?

It would not be actively trading, but own all IP including websites, trademarks, contracts etc of each subsidiary and charge a management fee as well as receiving dividends.

Most of our business activities will be in Belize, all legitimate and I thought a Belize IBC would fit into the corporate stucture as the parent company. I have read conflicting information online that a Belize IBC cannot own or trade with domestic Belizean companies.

If this is not possible, it would have to be a Gibraltar company.

Thanks in advance.

A Belize IBC cannot enter into business with a Belize resident (or do business locally), so I would be surprised if an IBC can be a shareholder of a local company.

What you are asking is way too complicated for a UK business forum... you need to go and pay for specific advice from someone specialising in IBC's etc. I don't have any connection with them other than as a satisfied customer, but I would recommend Fidelity.
