Barclays Business Essentials

I just love barclays, when i signed up for my account i told them the business would not be operating until January at the earliest, and i didnt want the package until then, he said he'd give me the box for it now and then i can start paying when i activate it, since then my accountant has offerd me a copy of Quickbooks free with his services. Checking my statment today barclays have started charing me, ive tried to ring them today but the number keeps ringing and ringing and ringing, does anyone have any advice with regards to canceling this?

Horses for courses - Barclays was recommended to me by quite a few people as the best choice as the 'human' support was there as well as the bells and whistles (which I didnt need). I met my business manager yesterday and he was great. Genuinly interested in my business, gave some good advice (free) and a couple of leads. He also put me in touch with a supplier.

I suppose they're all OK whilst your not in the red or asking for money.

I was also pushed on Business Essentials and discovered after 1hr with Sage Instant Accounts that it was not for me. I called up and cancelled (also cancelling the iSure online data backup service). Will see if it's billed or not...

That aside, the Barclays business bloke was very professional, so I hope the rest is OK!

ive been impressed with all this so far, the only thing thats got my wick is im opening a personal account too to make it easyier and i wanted to change over before xmas but couldnt until they matched my overdraft, i keep ringing and hastleing and no one seems to be moving to do it, plus i applied for a business loan, my local business manager was on holiday and diddnt pass on my paperwork so i lost 2 weeks of leadtime, well see if i can cancel it all, i really dont need it and did only say "yeah whatever" due to thinking i could decide at a later date, i didnt no i was bound to it. the backup softwares a joke, anyone with a decent webhost can back it all up for less money.
