Could anyone recommend a bank with fair charges for a very small Limited business. We have been with our current bankers over 20 years, but feeling the need for a change. Thank you for any information provided.

Perhaps if you gave some idea what sort of fair charges you are willing to pay? I don't know what your idea of fair is.

I'm with Santander, we had a no charge period (12 months) then a fixed monthly charge unless we go overdrawn.

I bank with Barclays I don't have any issues with the service but have limited requirements with everything done online.

We switched to Santander.

Most of our payments now are by transfer or card. We can pay cash in at the post office without penalty, and we post what cheques we get to them using their prepaid envelopes.

They offer a fixed monthly fee, depending on how much cash you pay in. We've more than halved what we were paying when with HSBC.

Switching worked a treat, but now struggling to open a savings account with them, despite now banking with them.

Might be worth looking online at one of the many comparison websites for business bank accounts to see what fits with your criteria best?
