B2C Calling does it work what are the average results

Hi,

I've mainly marketed at B2B clients with good success, however I'm wanting to try cold calling B2C prospects as I want to try and break in to the private market as better cash flow etc.

I know it depends on the product (in this instance service plans, servicing and general maintenance work) but I'm seeking advise as to whether this would be worth it? If so say a telemarketer does 8 hours a day realistically what would be the average bookings/appointments made?

I will also be giving away a free guide to home-owner grants and carbon monoxide awareness to people who want the free guides, this way I thought it was a good idea in building a email data list.
