B2B Trade card - info required ref Tax advantages

Hi, can anyone explain to me how the tax advantages work with these tradecards? It don't understand how these can be legal - I have heard that a company can pay for advertising which allows them certain benefits by loading money on to a card the directors or owners can use that money for personal use without incurring tax - this seems wrong to me and I really would like to know how these work but I have found very limited information regarding these.

Is it not the same as the rewards that you get on a personal credit or debit card?

Possibly that's what I am not entirely sure about...? the company pays for advertising space and then the Directors are able to load company money on to the card which converts to points which they can spend for personal use. It just seems wrong to me as this would be effectively tax free.
