Atricle Content Spinners - Opinions please?

Having not posted for a while I thought I would ask peoples opinion on article content spinners. I tried searching for previous posts but didn't get very much. They do seem too good to be true so maybe my question is very naive.

I'd be interested to hear if anybody is using such software and what they are actually using. I would also be useful to hear from the search engine people as to how this concept fits with seo etc

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your post. I do think however that your opinion is slightly biased given the service your promote. I'm a bit surprised not to have had a few more posts on this.

Does anyone else have an opinion?

I think you are talking about those gismos that slightly change your articles so you can submit them to lots of places? On the basis that this is correct I have been watching this thread in the hope of getting views. I have been looking at two but am a bit cautious (they are v US hard sell) and would love to hear from someone who uses them.

Look Barry! I got us another opinion :)

Thanks -1- does this also apply to the spinning services you can sign up to? I am happy to write my own articles so this is not the issue - just wanted to check if this was a good way to modify them so I can submit them to more than one place.

LOL Lisette!

A bit disappointed at the replies here but hey ho!

I would have imagines this was a question many people would like to see the answer to. I dont really understand the duplicate content thing really as well. Surely if it's all coming from the same site or referencing the same site then it should be ok. Given the lack of replies i think the consensus seems to be they aint worth even considering.

Shame :-(

Most paid products (software or online) use the same article directories and chop content in the same way. The issue is that smart search engines can pick up on patterns then have a real person visit the site who will more than likely remove you.

Content spinning is perfect if you are going to set up 5000 domains and push affiliate offers / AdSense etc but it only works in the short term.

Small amounts of duplicate content can be used on a site as long as its mixed in with useful stuff and should not attract to much of a penalty
