Can anyone give advice on what to do with an Asus CM6330 running Windows 8.1, 64 bit, that keeps hanging/freezing? The PC was purchased in August 2013.
I had noticed it was freezing, then there was a Windows update which crashed the whole thing. I did a complete reinstall of Windows 8 and then upgraded to Windows 8.1 – which brought me back to where I started. The system is working well – BUT – at least once a day it freezes and the only thing I can do is power off by holding the reset button for 5 seconds – I know this is not good but I do not have any other option.
I have run ScanFix and Check Disc and any issues that were identified were fixed. All Windows Updates are downloaded automatically.
What is my next step?
