Yes they are good - it just depends on which ones you want to be apart of.

Key as always is to dish out GOOD content - and google will index them in time.

Be very very careful while using any networks for getting links.
I will always recommend to get links through natural methods and try and avoid any kind of paid links or networks.
You might get some quick results but in the longer run google should be able to catch you most of the times. If it is a closed private network with only a few people using it you can still consider, but if it is an open network like AMA or seolinkvine i wont recommend using it as i am sure google will have their radar onto it.

Results are very much achievable using natural link building methods and we as a company have achieved results for some of the toughest keywords using purely organic methods.
