Article marketing campaign help required

Hey,

Need some professional advice on article marketing.

We are planning to launch a medium sized campaign through article of our 9 domains, at least 30 article back linking to one domain may be more.

Can you suggest and particular technique that we can make this campaign more powerful and fruitful.

Out current plan.

We currently have almost 7 independent blogs. Almost each site has a blog. So first of all, all article will be published on these blogs and then they are published on around 200-250 article submission sites like ezine and others.
But have a questions, regarding data duplication? Since one article will be published at least at 207 sites...?

From personal experience the duplicate content penalty is a myth. Google will index the first site it see's with the content and then either not bother with the same content site on another domain thereafter or rank it lower. So its not a penalty as such. Try it yourself and you will see

Okay here is a road map for you :
First make sure that before submitting your article to any other directory it is submitted to ezine because if you do otherwise ezine wont accept your article.
After this step you have 2 options :
1) submit the article only to the top 10-15 article directories without spinning.
2) submit your article to 100-300 article directories but this should be done after spinning of the article so that each version is unique and you get proper benefit.

I will also recommend using some additional variations of links to give your link profile a more varied and natural look.

Also don't use these articles on your website (the ones you are going to submit). That can be suicidal

Well Since we are planning 30 per Domain and have have 9 Domains, that would come to to 270 Article in total

There for each of our Domain's Blog or independent wordpress/blogspot blog will have all of the 270 Articles posted 1st, then on Ezine and then other directories.

Also don't use these articles on your website (the ones you are going to submit). That can be suicidal

Well unfortunately that was the main plan.

1st: Posting each article on Our web's blog/ other blogs
2nd: Post them on Ezine
3rd: Post them on other article sites.

I think we have to revise the plan after this discussion

That will create issues of duplicate content if you post them on your website and ezine and ezine having very high authority will be considered by google as the original source and your website would go into supplemental results (not shown by google) and wont rank at all.

If you post them on your own site, make sure you link back to the original article page when you distribute them.

We did that once with one of our clients, and still ezine was ranked higher and the clients site pages did not rank at all even though they had links from the ezine articles and all other pages.

Authority would matter here, not sure if this might have changed after may day..

One other thing worth mentioning (based upon your site being new and thin on links) is that if you dump in a load of articles into your site they might make it temporarily tank. If Google see a lot of low quality links go to a site in a short period they will often knock it down in the SERPs for a few days, weeks or months. This is particularly true for new domains.

Also SEs aren't known to be fans of having to crawl and download the same article 100s of times. This is one of the reasons why they have dupe. filters and supplemental results, i.e. your articles might not "stick" in the SERPs or even be found because SEs can detect they are on waffer-thin sites. The way people get round this is by rearranging their article (spinning) into different articles to trick Daddy G. You can get software to do this, search for article spinner or ask people on here and you can also get auto/semi-auto article submitted and subscribe to mass article submission networks (I forget the names).

However, before you do any article submissions, I would look at getting some better links. A bunch of PR N/A supplemental links will have little affect on your rankings. However, if you can build up a PR4-5 domain and then dump in a load of load garbage like articles, Google will take more note of your gutter links from article sites.

IMO articles are a waste of time though. There are loads of other crappy schemes you can use to make a mess on the veeb in exchange for rankings.

Yep Ezine is an authority site, so there is no reason why it wouldn't. That wasn't why i advised linking back to the original article though.
