Are Goldsmiths in demand in these economic conditions?

Hi all, i have a friend who is a goldsmith and he has asked me whether its worth advertising online or not. To be honest i couldn't give a straight answer.

I suppose its better than not being online, but whats your opinion about it generating much business for him?

Gold always a good steady investment , and online is a natural must do...

It will only generate business if its page 1 of the searches .. if its just a pretty page or 2 about him and his pet dog called Spike , and its page 124 then its a waste of money ..
