Hello All!

So in today's world saturated by craft beer from all over the world, I am looking for some advice on how to approach distributors of beer. From the basic facts to what could give me an edge would really help.

Thanks everyone !!!!!

At what level are you hoping to target?

Pub level? Brewery level?
Cash & carry level? Supermarket level?

Organisations such as the BFBi, IBD, Brewers Journal, and London Brewers Alliance all offer chances to meet others and form networks for help and education. They also have courses on sales and distribution.

Many supermarkets (e.g. Waitrose, Aldi and Lidl) buy craft beers direct, assuming that you can deliver the required quantities. Aldi and Lidl have regional distribution and stock deals for micro-breweries and both guarantee payment to small companies within 30 days.

You also need to attend some of the brewing, as well as food and drink trade fairs and make 1-on-1 contact with buyers from various bodies.
