Appointment/Scheduling Software???

Hello,
I am currently looking to find a good software that can book appointments for a room based rehearsal studio for multiple rooms. It would need to be user friendly and preferably with a customer/contacts system to track customers. Any other features would be useful, for instance accounts tracking or online booking but not essential.
Any pointers or help will be useful.

We used to use it for project work, we since moved to Office 365, although I think that may be over kill for what you want it for. But some food for thought anyway

In general, willingness to pay for these services will serve you better than saving money. In this field customer support can be a huge factor and from my own experience, free services do not offer the same as those that are not.

I am using Bookappo at the moment. After trying out at least 10 of other softwares, I decided to go with this one and I have yet to complain.

Yes in the field of planning/scheduling it is possible to save a lot of money by creating a good schedule. Typically the difference between a good planning system and a poor one amounts to the business saving (or costing) 10% of its operational costs. This can be a huge amount so easily justifies some initial expenditure in a good planning system.

Google Apps for Business is actually free as long as you only want 10 or less user accounts and don't need 25GB of email space per account (which the vast majority do not).

I've been using acuityscheduling.com/ for the past 8 months. US based company so support is sometimes slow, but they support online payments and currencies (including GBP and Euro). Haven't tried any others to comment on, loving Acuity though.

Please give 'Schedule it' a try. You can try it free to recorded all your customer information, and schedule all your resources, rooms, studios.

There is both a desktop and an online version so choose the one the fits what you need best but let me know if I can help with any questions.

Hi,

You can actually setup Outlook to include a Room for meetings (or in your case studio) when you set up an appointment. This would probably be most cost effective if you're already using Office.

Google 'configuring outlook for room scheduling' and you can't go far wrong.

If you also Google 'Room Management Software' the top 3 are pretty good but I don't believe they come with the accounting elements you require.

I think 'Room Manager' uses Microsoft Sharepoint in it's setup which would interface with our RapidNAV for Finance accounting software so that's an option.
