Working on a new plugin with a combined loan calculator and application form.

Can you have a play and see if you can spot any major problems.

Right now only two fields are required (name and email). If you use a made up email address you won't get the notification.

You will also see two uploader fields. They will accept jpg, png or pdf. Would be appreciated if you can play with these. Can be any image to do the test. But nothing for which I need to bleach my eyes afterwards please.

The fields you see are just chosen at random. In the settings the are loads of options. And you can select which sections you want to use.

I did have this before but it only works on images. If people upload a pdf (or allow word documents) then you get a blank box. But I can put this back just for you.

Typing here as I'm tinkering;

(small typo in the bottom, not part of the form "if you want one like...")
Expected to see a date picker when entering date of birth.
Would recommend some number validation on the phone number, if if budget allows use a postcode lookup for the address.
How picky do you want me to be on typos?

Nice and slick and easy to use though, I found it easy to navigate.

The date picker is a marmite thing. For dates of birth it's better to have three fields (day/month/year) which is great in the UK but not in the USA where they have month/day/year. If you use a date picker it can be fiddly to get the year.

If clients want a postcode lookup they can pay for it. But it's different in each country (most of my clients come from outside the UK). I'm building a form for a client in Kenya and they don't use posts codes, everyone has a PO Box.

I'm quite pleased with the UX. It's the result of dozens of custom versions, each one adding small improvements.

Did you click on the T&C link? Really pleased with this.

And the way it displays errors has gone through loads of iterations.

The error messages were very clear and intuitive, which is very good.
I didn't click on the T&C's originally, old habbits, but I have just now and I'm pleased to say it does not have a pet hate of mine which is a scroller within a scroller, which is hard to use with a touchpad laptop. It scrolls within the page itself which is a big UX tick from me.

I get what you're saying about the date picker being marmite. Personally I love big thick lashings of marmite, and I very much prefer a date picker.

There are now three ways to enter your date of birth. All three are showing on step 2 (because this is just a test).
