One of my sites only usually gets about 50 visitors a day.

In past couple of hours it's had 300+ coming from facebook.

I don't have a facebook page so someone else has obviously posted a link to it, is there anyway of finding out where these visitors are coming from?

It's likely a no, but it will depend on your analytics and website tracking setup.

Google GA4 will just give you a source report, you may see it in old style JS analytics if there is tracking code appended to the Facebook URL.

As that's unlikely, as you didn't setup the link, unless you've added specific page/lead tracking software to your website you'll not be able to see the source page URL.

Your server logs will tell you. My hosting has a bunch of analytics tools built into cPanel that gives me far more data than GA.

As an aside, clicky.com does track social media visitors

The raw stats include a fb tracking code on the page people land on, doesn't appear to show the actual URL where people are coming from though.
