Anyone used Guest Posting services?

Has anyone used Fatjoe.co.uk before? Is this still relevant for SEO these days? We did a few guest blogs on a few good sites last year but dont have the time these days to seek them out and write the content.

We tried them out last month for a keyword and the link is recognised in google webmaster and the site wasnt spammy or anything. Traffic did increase for the keyword too.

Before I spend another £35 per post do people think its worthwhile?

Many thanks

For £35 its DA 10-30 in a relevant niche
I guess it's lit bit pricey then.

Try and ask for the following metrics next times. DA 30+ and probably you know what values the others need to have..

Popular Quality Metrics:

Domain Authority
Social Signals
Limited Adsense
No Free Press Sites
Mozrank
Linking Root Domains
Minimum 500 Word Articles
No More Than 5 Outbound Links Per Page
Relevancy
Each Link Comes From A Unique Class C IP Address
No Networks
Individual Site Owners
Internal Linking

Not worth spending a penny. Guest posting can work but not for £35. All you will get for your money is regurgitated and spun dross that adds zero value and will end up on some junk website.

Paying for a guest blog is not the best ways to go about it. Google penalized a big guest blog network recently and if you are doing paid blog posts then you could be in trouble.

I am certain spammy guest posting is doomed, and will go the way of link networks and article directories sooner or later. Guest contributions will remain on certain blogs, though. For example, can you imagine Search Engine Land where all the articles are written by Danny Sullivan alone? That'd be nice, but a totally different story.
