Anyone recommend a courier?

Our current couriers (City Link Ltd) have changed their terms and conditions by including a minimum invoice charge of £50.00 (meaning that if the total of the weekly invoice, including all surcharges, is less than £50.00, they will charge £50.00).

They are also insisting on payment by Direct Debit.

Failure to agree to the above will result in our account being suspended from Friday 7th September 2007.

Can anybody recommend a courier for immediate use to us?

Horrible experience with parcel to go - the courrier dropped my laptop out of the van - didnt say a word, needless to say it didnt work....

I only found out as I checked the CCTV footage.

Search the net for parcel2go complaints there are quite a few...

I've used Interlink Express on more than one occasion and been more than happy with their delivery service, customer service and payment tarriff.

I'd second that Alan.

We used Interlink Express this year after awful service from Parcel Force and haven't looked back since. The service can depend on your local depot but ours is first class. If you bargain hard you can also get a very good price.

The service can depend on your local depot but ours is first class.

The service can depend on the individual driver within a depot - some are more flexible than others, some take care with their deliveries and so on.

Hubby has worked for Parceline for the last 20 years and it's not unheard of for his regular customers to complain to the depot manager when he's taken off their route because colleagues don't offer the same level of service.

Quality of service can also depend on whether or not the driver is an employee or an owner/driver (i.e. franchise driver). The franchise drivers have to make a certain number of deliveries a day to cover their costs and make a profit, in addition to the timed deliveries, so they tend to be in a greater rush, which could affect their customer service and attitude towards parcels.

I use CityLink occasionally and have an account with them but they haven't even bothered to inform me of this .
