Anyone know of a good alternative to flippa?

I want to try flip a few domains. I have them on flippa already, but I was hoping there was a (cheaper) alternative out there somewhere. If I only pay the $9 posting fee on flippa it seems like my listing is lost amongst all of the featured listings. Anyone know of a good alternative?

Is it necessary for you to include links in your postings?

You can post names for sale without using links. I expect that some places which don't allow links are doing it to prevent link droppers and link builders rather than preventing people from selling their domains. There again, it's true to say that some places want you to pay for adverts or listings.

BTW, you can list domains for free on Flippa if you appraise some other domains. I think it's 15. All you need is a Flippa account. You don't need any knowledge or experience or anything. Just take a guess at how much you think these other domains are worth and Flippa will reward you with a free listing. It seems a bizarre system to me to encourage people who might not know anything about appraising domains to do it in this way. But those are Flippa's rules.

The best alternatives to Flippa are probably forums. You'll just need to scour all the relevant ones and their rules to find those which allow it. And there'll be even fewer which will allow links in the post too.

Being a domain name investor for over 5 years, I have had the opportunity to explore each of these websites and forums in depth.
I would highly recommend using NamePros for domain name needs, education and connect. You would get the best reseller price on that platform.
Apart from that, if you wish to go for end user sales, Sedo works well.
Flippa doesn't go very well with average names and chances are, even with the upgrades, your domain name might not end up selling.

Hope that was helpful.
