    No, though I did try out its successor, LedgerSMB a few years back.

    It worked, but was decidedly clunky in its GUI. so decided against.

    LedgerSMB is still going strong, so maybe now would be a good time to try again.

    But Quickfile is an online service.

    Both SQL Ledger and LedgerSMB are FLOSS software that you install on your own server.

    Not sure what is the purpose of OP, is it doing own books or providing bookkeeping service. There is another one which can be installed on own server here is the demo link for it http://demo.frontaccounting.eu/index.php
