Anyone getting leads from website?

If you're a local business you might want to check out my free course that explains how to make sure your business is appearing prominently where it should be online:

Having said that, AllUp is also right that there may be many strategic options you want to pursue either alongside or instead of the web depending on exactly what you do.

This can be achieved if you set it up to collect leads ie a field for an email address or phone number to be left for you to follow up

Was it always getting leads from the start, if not what did you do to start getting leads?
One way is by placing opt-in forms with specific lead collecting fields eg telephone number, surveys, (where result sent by email) or request your website visitor pick a date and time for you to contact them by placing an online scheduler for them to fill in on your website or leave your contact details requesting your website visitor contact you:)

As a customer when I find a website that interests me there is nothing more annoying than a "contact us" form asking for contact details. It instantly puts me off and I go looking elsewhere.

If you want business put all the required information on your website. If you require me to go through the hassle of getting a quote I generally won't even bother and will look elsewhere.

The only industries where this is not the case are things like builders and leased lines which have prices that depend on more than just who you are (for instance getting a quote on a leased line requires that the company knows your address, same kind of thing for builder they need to see your house).

Can't say I agree completely with that Cromulent. Contact forms can be great if you're putting together different quotes from a variety of companies. It all depends on the business itself, as some websites don't necessarily exist to generate leads.

At any rate, most of the leads I get still come through the phone.

Was it. always getting leads from the start, if not what did you do to start getting leads?

James I would be pretty P~~~~~ off if we were not getting any leads but I'm not actually interested in leads I'm only interested sales that's all that matters . I judge the site in sales volumes any other waffle is of no use and I would rarther go down the beach.
