Anyone buy books in bulk?

My grandmas friend was running a small book shop and had some personal problems and had to get rid of all the stock - We currently have around 500 books - looking at selling them for 10p-20p each really.

Does anyone know where i can sell bulk books apart from ebay?

They range from animals, world, parties, childrens, biography, autobiographies, novels, history, geography and others.

Are they brand new books or 2nd hand?

If you have another business, you can use them for advertising - for example, put stickers on them along the lines of "Kindly donated by <your other business name here>", and take them along to your local hospital/Drs surgery/school etc.

Or set up a stall at a market / boot sale.

Good Idea - I dont have time for a market stall im afraid!

They are all 2nd Hand but good condition! And too heavy for me to take anywhere!

We only have a handful of kids books left im afraid! Most of them i took for my kids as they were baby books - i just left around 20 books that were too advanced for my kids
