All the best to you Mel. As you say, a small world indeed. I have just been made redundant so have reverted back to private practice to provide a myriad of professional case based consultancy services including Health & Safety, Environmental, Sustainability, M&E, Asset management, Tenant service charge reviews and audits (they always pay far too much) Accident/fatality investigation, DDA compliance, design and implementation of bespoke management systems, Facilities management, & project management.

The phone has started ringing and today I am meeting a well established HR consultancy practice to hopefully work alongside them to increase the level of services they currently provide. Once my website is designed and up and running it will nice to carry some quality links to other services.

Just need some billing hours now to keep the 'hounds' at bay:)

Hi Everyone,

I am new and based in Thornbury near Bristol, I run The Playbus . com with my husband Ian, we provide a childrens birthday party with a difference and also now convert buses for other people.

I am now just starting out on a new veture, on my own though and am looking to network a little...It is very different to the buses, a business to business consultancy/training oportunity that could save companys both time and money, helping your staff communicate at difficult times!

Does anyone know of any good networking events that aren't too expensive and/or scary??? Preferably around the Bristol/South Glos area?

Thanks,
Em

About time I signed in.

West Somerset Land Rovers based right on the Somerset/Devon border, just off the A38. We specialise in the service and repair of Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles. We also do parts and accessories which can be exported or mail ordered. I'll do a special labour rate for any UKBF members within the next 6 months.

We are also allowed to service vehicles that are under LR warranty so you don't need to pay out £85 and hour labour at your dealership.

Oh wicked. What a cool idea!

Thats awesome. When/if Mrs BFC ets you have a pool table when you move drop me a line and I'll work out a good price for you!

Pool tables are MINT!!! Definitely one of those must have before you die items, even if you just keep it for a year. I've had mine for about 6 years now and love it.

One thing though - when you first get it all your mates that you haven't seen for months will climb out of the woodwork. As long as they bring beer I was never that bothered! :p
