Chanced upon a website for these, apparently a simplified way of marketing any type of business.

All sounds a little bit 'yankee' multi level marketing at first glance but parts of the offer do make sense.

Anybody tried them?

Cheers gents.....

I've not really looked into it any further due to lack of time, which I think may be the secret. Yes, I guess I could build a simple website but making it relevant and getting it to work would take an age.

One aspect caught my eye and that's the suggestion that a hooked potential customer is apparently led to a better buying position, which I think is what you're saying Calvin.
One of our biggest problems is not reaching our target market but extracting them from many years of loyalty (and convenience) to a local supplier.

I didn't really get what you say here "One of our biggest problems is not reaching our target market but extracting them from many years of loyalty (and convenience) to a local supplier."

Our primary target market is already our paying customer. That equates to around 95% of the market as a whole. (There are other sectors but.....) The service they subscribe to with us has little to do with the products we offer for sale. The first they need, the second they need occasionally and traditionally buy from a local supplier who may sponsor them, offer a discount etc., to keep them loyal. Nowt wrong with that but it still equates to a hefty overspend when price comparisons are made.
So, simply putting something in front of them is not enough - they probably don't read it - and i'm wondering if my initial but rather vague understanding of click funnels would have an answer.

Do you know why most people absolutely fail at Clickfunnels?

It's because they don't do their analysis properly. They go to the platform, don't do any research on what they're about to see next, try extensively playing around with the software's features without seeking professional help or guidance, and the next thing you know is that they make an impression - Clickfunnels is a SCAM or a product that doesn't meet their needs.

I am from an affiliate marketing background and struggled with this software myself. The struggle lasted for a good 3 months until I figured out what was doing wrong.

Just like YOU, I was fascinated by what Russell Brunson had to offer because let's face it - this guy can sell anybody just about anything and I regard him as the best sales person ever!

Undeniably the king of direct response marketing.

Lucan - I know what you're trying to do and I agree with your point that creating a website that is particularly suited for the exact needs you have mentioned would take ages.

But you also must fully understand how funnels work, because if you don't study extensively on how to create effective funnels - you'd keep failing at funnels (irrespective of the software or platform that you choose to employ)

The best way to get started is to read the book DotComSecrets by Russell Brunson and then for a super deep understanding of which funnel is expected to work for you and how you should go about it, just sign up for your 14-day trial and go through the free Funnel Hackers Cook Book

Once you go through the CookBook, you would find and truly understand which type of funnel is best suited for your business objective.

When you really commit yourself to learn how Clickfunnels work, that is when you get the maximum value out of it.

There are haters all around the world for Clickfunnels and so many people (including myself) have lost money on trying to figure this out.

It was all worth it.
