any surveyors out there?

Hello there, I am in desperate need of help. I need to show a plan to a surveyor to ask what one mark means on it! The plan is of a leasehold flat, with boundary lines marked, but there are two little hand drawn marks on it and they have no key or explnation. I have been down to two architect/surveyors offices to ask if they could tell me, but they both want over £65 to tell me! I know they cannot do freebies all the time, but I need to know ASAP. Any takers?

I found a website that lists various synmbols so you can look by clicking here.
Failing that I have a bit of experience in reading architects plans so may be able to work it out, what does it look like or can you upload a scan somewhere for us to see?

thanks for that, the symbol was not on the site, but you lead me to just knock on the door of a local architects with the opening line 'can I be cheeky and ask you a question?' and they were really, really helpful and did more than enough to assist, I was very surprised and delighted. Karma hey, after that I assisted a confused older lady who was having trouble using the cashpoint, what goes around comes around!
