Any software out there on the web that will monitor price drops and alert you

Basically what i am after is anything quite simple where you can possibly copy and paste a URL to a product it will then monitor it and alert you when that price drops, is there anything out there like this or am i living in a dream world

It sounds like what you are looking for would be a Web API.

There is a website called CamelCamelCamel which tracks and updates you on price changes for Amazon products. I'd imagine you are looking for something similar but for a set product elsewhere?

You could build your own API using Kimono Labs (sorry, can't post links yet) if you can't find a solution elsewhere. If that doesn't work out too well you could try getting in touch with a programmer and seeing if you could have a custom API made.

I would say a bit of both...

Solutions are available to monitor webpage changes, but has there is different technologies used to host websites, a scraping solution may require custom development.
