I don't like SAGE but our company use SAGE 50 payroll. Just been quoted £590 + VAT for SAGECover Extra renewal that we never use beyond the software updates.
We did try 1-2Pay as an alternative to SAGE for a year but found it to be too limited so went back to SAGE. It proved clunky and inflexible for our individual payment set up across several groups of employees and setting up new pay elements and reports was a headache.
So following the latest SAGE money grab I'm activated again to look at payroll options and after a trawl liked the look of BrightPay. From the tutorial videos it has a modern feel and seems to have a lot of inbuilt flexibility around pay set up options.
We need a package that can work beyond the salary is software as our workers are hourly paid and that varies from employee to employee and from week to week for each employee. Is Brightpay the package for us?
Any users please do let me know how you get on with BrightPay as a package and their Irish based support.
