Any reviews for BrightPay payroll software?

I don't like SAGE but our company use SAGE 50 payroll. Just been quoted £590 + VAT for SAGECover Extra renewal that we never use beyond the software updates.

We did try 1-2Pay as an alternative to SAGE for a year but found it to be too limited so went back to SAGE. It proved clunky and inflexible for our individual payment set up across several groups of employees and setting up new pay elements and reports was a headache.

So following the latest SAGE money grab I'm activated again to look at payroll options and after a trawl liked the look of BrightPay. From the tutorial videos it has a modern feel and seems to have a lot of inbuilt flexibility around pay set up options.

We need a package that can work beyond the salary is software as our workers are hourly paid and that varies from employee to employee and from week to week for each employee. Is Brightpay the package for us?

Any users please do let me know how you get on with BrightPay as a package and their Irish based support.

We use Brightpay for our bureau and I would thoroughly recommend it. Simple to use but powerful. We have also found that the support is excellent, so no hesitation here. It is excellent for all businesses so go ahead and try it. I think that you can download a version for up to 3 employees for free, so give it a go and see what you think.

It does look very slick, and of course if you have 3 or less employees its actually free! Plus features wise, its complete.

A lot of people recommend Moneysoft but I just don't like the really dated 90s style interface. But like Brightpay, its comprehensive in terms of features,

I have used Brightpay for many years now. The latest software is very flexible and the support is fantastic. It is an excellent product at a very keen price. Plus in the seven or eight years I have used the product there have only been 2 price increases. I have many clients using Brightpay with no problems at all. They managed the transition to RTI with ease, they seem to have a knack of just making things work, no fuss and no scaremongering like others we could mention.
A great company to deal with and great software.

I also have used for many years as a bureau so are handling all sizes and types of clients. It's straightforward to use. Back up from Brightpay staff is superb. There is a good personal link as opposed to the vast size of Sage.where you are just an anonymous client. Brightpay concentrate on payroll and not, like Sage, every aspect of business. Have also used IRIS which was faffy and did not like.
