Any recommended business data providers

I'm looking for recommendations for buying trading business data. Selectable by geo and business-type.

Used to have success with Thomson's Business Search Pro but that's been discontinued in it's original form. I liked it because it wasn't derived from companies house data (ie with the Dun & Bradstreet - type databases) , but from a real business directory.

I have worked with and run successful campaigns/data purchases with Market Location so can vouch for them. I've also worked with D&B. Intelligent Data Group also good.

In my experience much of the same data is shared across various suppliers so will include companies house data as well as other sources like Google Businesses Listings etc

How do you plan to use the data as this will impact with regards to most appropriate supplier?

Malcolm at Business Lists UK (address in Chester) is a good provider, and often heavily discounted compared to some of the larger players.

I'd use clearbit, they have really good international coverage too.
