Any other methods of posting?

I have around 50 parcels to be sent out to customers next week. Measuring around 160 x 80 x 200 and weighing under a kilo.

The cost through Royal Mail is high, it'll be an expensive exercise. Can anybody suggest a cheaper method to do this? they are all UK mainland and should be signed for.

Thanks

understood, the size of the box will need to go via a pallet to be cheap enough

Courier = £260 per parcel
Pallet delivery = £40 (inc vat) per pallet

You will have to supply a pallet for each item but the cost is better imho

ah that's why the quote is £260 :)

P4d.co.uk comes out at £9.59 per parcel but if you're sending on a regular basis then you can get bulk purchase account.

Parcels2go offer it from £2.50 per parcel (myhermes), £3.50 for collect+ or £7.25 + vat using Yodel

Myhermes is delivered to your door by a local driver used by MyHermes, where as Collect+ is delivered to your local shop and you collect when you can.

Myhermes reliability will depend on the individual drivers in each area :)

Do you use Myhermes? Would you like to "recommend a friend" and we both get 25% off? :)

Use google to find out about these cheap couriers. Some of them can be horendus. We trialled hermes and yodel. We sent about 20 parcels with each of them over a different period of time. We have about 7 complaints from customers about hermes and 13 from yodel. All complaining about the quality of the delivery, and in one case the parcel was never delivered even though the system said it had. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for.

For a good reliable service use RM as your parcels are not really that big.

Thanks for your opinion. I need to check the cost again of RM but i think myhermes will be considerably cheaper.

Morning,

Just to clarify - this is the P4D rate for a one-off parcel inc. VAT and on a Next Day service (not 3 day like the cheapest). However, for 50 parcels we would absolutely discount the rate and you would also gain access to our bespoke software that means you can upload a file with the delivery address, rather than type them all out manually.

If you're still looking, it's [email protected] or 01295 228404 for a quote, although our rates become competitive over 1kg, so we may not be your best bet on this one for price alone.

Cheers,

Nat
