Any ideas about where I can market my website?

Hi guys,

I have just recently set up a new company, SAHAR. (saharmarket.com) and I am trying to find some good places where I can market my website.

I know the obvious, google adwords, facebook ads, forum posts and article posts. Although in regards to posting articles I am not too sure where to search to find them. I guess I need to hunt down some fashion related forums?

I have also set up a facebook page and twitter account, but as it's new I don't really have many page likes. I tried paying for some facebook ads to advertise my page, but I think its a waste of money as didn't get any likes out of it, and the cot per like ends up being ridiculous. facebook.com/saharmarket if anyone want's to give have a look at my fb page to see if what I am doing looks ok.

Hi,

For you to have a good marketing strategy on your website, I would suggest you to hire a reliable outsourcing company. That way, you can have all the control you want in your marketing plan. I guess, for a start up website like yours, SEO and PPC comes together for that.

I don't really want to hire an SEO company, who would just change meta tag's and set up a google adwords account would would then charge me a huge percentage of my budget just to manage. I can do all of these myself for free.

I did contact a few companies asking them what percentage of the ad words budget would be spent on adwords, and what percentage as their fee. But they never replied, probably because the answer would not have made them look good.

Use AdWords but be prepared to dedicate time to it daily to ensure that it doesn't run away with your wallet.

We start clients with a few niche keywords they are comfortable with. Sales grow, and so can the campaign.

AdWords can get you to the top instantly, but for it to create a return, you will need to respect and understand it.

I recommend starting an account with a key word, and some variations on that key word, and see where demand lies. Build campaigns around those words to begin with and set up conversion goals on your site so you can really see if it is working for you.

Your company sells clothing so you have a very wide audience, probably aged between 10-40. Your way to go is SEO / AdWords.. / Distribution of magazines / posters. I advise that you ask someone for help. Friends above said already, this can cost you a lot of money.

I'd recommend setting up Product Listing Ads - PLAs (you can target these for Russia & UK). You open a Google Merchant Center (sic) account, create a product feed from your eComm platform and then link to your AdWords account. You can also set-up Dynamic remarketing ads (if the volume is there)...

You'll also get some very valuable product keyword data from your SQRs (AdWords) & MSQRs (GA) that you can then use to help target your SEO efforts (considering you get very little organic keyword data now)...

As a separate observation there are a few issues with your website, mixed language (Russian & English used on the /en site) being one, easy to confuse any user landing on the site.

You should definitely try email marketing! You set up an email list and advertise your website through newsletters or if you have any selling options, better. It's important to do it, it's very cost efficient and brings leads guaranteed.

If you need me to help you with this, please contact me on my email address on inboxincome.co.uk website.
