Any experience with protecting artistic work?

Hey everyone. Do you by any chance have ane experience in this area? I heard it is not possible to protect this kind of intelectual property... I am looking at dance, choreography, performance art. How can I protect my ideas? Thanks for help. Andy

its too bad... I could describe it but people can change some bits and use it then, I guess.. So there is nothing to help me...
