Amazon Product Ads

Evening All, As the title suggests came across Amazon Product ads the other day wasn't even aware such a thing existed. If anyone is using this could they confirm if it has Radius targeting?

To the best of my knowledge there is no such function.

Compared to other networks I've advertised on, Amazon Product Ads is fairly primitive with very few settings that I can tweak (certainly when compared to AdWords anyway).

Not much, but it's worth using in my opinion.

Obviously it's not a true PPC network - to advertise services on (ie, a local window cleaning company).

However if you sell actual products carried in the Amazon catalogue - let's say an Xbox One for example - your ads will show up on the relevant product page(s) on Amazon. There's a couple of places your ad can be shown and if clicked, the user is taken to the relevant product page on your own website.

On a side note, I think it's crazy that Amazon would want to send qualified buyers away from their own website, even for a small fee. But there's method in their madness I guess, otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.

The product ads are based on pay per click pricing model, and really effective for some categories such as home improvement products and craft items. There are some restricted categories as well for this service.
