I'm considering starting a market stall on Saturdays and Wednesdays in my local town.

I have a few options of what to sell: clearance toys; childrens clothing or photography prints.

A great hobby of mine is photography and have a collection of many stunning landscape images as I live in Devon. I also want to begin a childrens portrait service which could be advertised by a leaflet on a prints market stall.

Do you think prints will work? A large print 16"x12" would cost £10 for somebody to purchase.

Welcome any advice and other ideas of what would sell well on a market stall.

Try and see mate.

Have a dabble at first, if it works then push it further.

Don't dive in, with lots of stock etc first!

It helps too look around the markets locally and see if there are any competitors in the lines you are considering.

Take a look at the nmtf website for various advice, markets and contacts including the insurances all markets will require from you.
