Alternative to Mail Merge

Hi there, we have developed our own ecommerce site and export the orders in an excel format. We use MS office mail merge to print labels and receipts from that but we are having a lot of issues with Mail Merge. We were wondering if there is an alternative to either Mail Merge or MS Office that we can use to print labels and receipts using data from an excel file?

why are you not using e-commerce built in feature for invoicing, labels, receipts order management?

Because we are not using an off the shelf ecommerce package with those features. We have developed our own ecommerce system and we can only extract an excel file out of it at the moment.

Amount of time spent on this designs and testing this new e-commerce system which lacks basic features, whats the point then?

Its not a straightforward ecommerce store, it a different model and none of the off the shelf packages worked for us hence why we developed our own. We will create this feature but need a stopgap solution till then.

Are you using any accountancy software that can handle customer, invoices, receipts?

It should be easy enough to output your orders in a format that order management software like Linnworks can import. It would be perfect for this.
