Alternative to Hootsuite

I have been using Hootsuite for a while to promote my accounting business although not an expert it was gaining some additional exposure for me. One of the features I liked was the search feature where you could search key words like "tax" or "budget" to find useful stories and content to post so you could schedule posts for say 2 weeks at a time in a matter of minutes.

However that function stopped working, apperently that part of the software has depreciated and will not be replaced. I was quite miffed at this as was using paid for version, and cannot believe that they would allow such a key feature to expire.

Just wondering what others use that have that search feature.

Buzzbundle mate - covers alot more reach than hootsuite last time I checked, there is a video that explains it better there. I looked at hootsuite and a load of others before settling on buzzbundle. Set it - forget it - let it run - check it - respond etc, the good thing is that you choose what 'personality' to respond as.

We've been using Buffer for months now, its been great for us! It allows us to control and automatically post to all our social media pages.

It even has a design editor with thousands of royal free images, its fantastic and has a great price! I think their pricing is $10 a month! They also have a free plan!

I looked at Buffer - but it dosent have the functionality of buzzbundle and at $99 a month for a small business account looks a bit steep , buzz was £120 and that's it - you get the updates for a year - and then to keep getting the updates it's a much smaller amount. We use Social Pilot. https://socialpilot.co - I haven't looked into the curated content section much, but you can schedule posts from recommended content. Social Pilot offers scheduled posting, group posting and basic analytics and it's one of the cheapest out there

Buffer is very good, just be careful sometimes Facebook do not like posting third party shared content. However I think Buffer is very useful to use across various social media and it also includes a link shortener perfect for Twitter and Facebook. It does cost money to upgrade but the free version is available to use, if you want a trial before you choose the perfect one for your business.
