Alibaba Due Diligence - What more can I do?

I'm dealing with a clothing manufacturer over Alibaba. I have had 2 sample deliveries. 4 items in total. Custom made where they have worked to a specification. Pieces have been spot on, great quality. Prices are decent but don't seem overly cheap.

Manufacturer has had on site check, is 4 year gold member and I'm setting up an order over trade assurance.

All communication has been good and they have asked good questions when creating products.

Still slightly nervous putting in a bigger order. Especially whether quality will match the samples.

Anything else I can do I'm terms of due diligence and safeguarding against issues?

Suggest you hire a reputable QC company to do quality inspection at factory, before you wire final payment.

Send an approved sample to the QC company, as a golden sample.

Maple Sourcing is correct. The ONLY way of getting 99% confidence is to use an agent to physically check. If you can afford to lose the cost of the order, then take a risk!

1.I suggest you could use some B2B platmarket as guarantee, such as Alibaba. You could search the china company name on the platform and do business through it. This way is more secure.
2. Use payment way mroe secure for the buyers, use Paypal if small funds, L/C if big funds.
