Our Ltd company has signed an agency agreement with a company with a monthly retainer. We have been working for this company for almost three years. We want to give them notice, which is three months.
After we leave this contract, we cannot work for a company with a competing product for one year.
However, the company is now saying that we can leave after one week, they will not hold us for three months but not pay us. I feel that because we are being held on non-compete, they should pay for the three months notice.
Have we got the rights on our side?
