After changing existing company name

After changing a company's name, do we need to mention the old name in all company communications e.g.

"New name"
(Previously trading as "Old name")
Company address

I have seen some companies doing that.

As long as you've got company name, registration number, place of registration, you're good.

Only time I'd suggest the old name is if your customers are likely to stop responding to your new correspondence/invoices etc because they've not got the change of name message.
