Affiliate marketing

Hi Shohel, welcome on board.

Affiliate marketing is quite a tough industry. It also takes a fair amount of time to develop traffic to your site unless you go down the paid route (where you need a very slick and efficient model otherwise you'll be broke).

My opinion would be to build a site that you can scale. For example, if you were an affiliate for a software product then I would start a site that reviews software products.

Yes, there are other sites out there but you can put your own unique spin on it. Software products also have good commissions, some even as high as 30%.

Another example would be breeds of dogs. Instead of just targeting dog owners which is too broad, focus on products for an exact breed and then build out from there.

In that market you have toys, food and nutrition, dog coats, training products, vets and more.

Lot's of opportunities but you need to be in a niche, otherwise you can't compete.

I would steer clear of spammy 'lose weight' or 'get rich quick' products (ebooks) because that's doomed to fail.

Your best chance is to identify a product niche and focus on being great in that niche. You should also be able to drive organic traffic from Google if you niche down.

Good luck.
