Affiliate Marketing

If you have a website, you can apply to companies to promote their products on your website.
They supply you with an advert.
You display that on your website.
A visitor to your website sees the advert and 'clicks' on it.
The visitor's browser then goes to the advertised website where they buy a product.
You get a (usually smallish) monetry percentage of the product bought.

From my experience in the field, the pros are very low start-up costs, multiple income streams and easy set-up.
on the hand, there are some cons like low level of control and mostly high competition.

but still, with all the competition, you can success very well in the affiliate marketing.

first of you need a very good subject website. something you are passionate about. it could be your blog.

2nd you need account with affiliate sites such as affiliate window, affiliate future etc. other sites are there too

3rd join the merchants and start promoting. it is a labour intensive job sometimes but rewards are handsome if done right.

Pros and Cons of affiliate marketing for whom? The store owners or the affiliates? Because for each subject, the pros and cons are different

I've done well with affiliate marketing. the main con is that you aren't building an asset as it isn't your product. so unless you build an email list you can be in trouble is your traffic source, product you are promoting stops

Affiliate marketing is good because you don't have to spend anything to earn something. However, for you to get a good deal of money from it, you would have to exert a lot of effort.
