Advise on starting a Powerful Exchange System again!

Hi Guys,

I just want peoples thoughts on my new venture/old venture i am planning to start a Powerful Exchange System for Social Media for the 2nd time !

I am only looking to do this just as a hobby not really for the money i had one of these before and had 2,000 users after a few month I found 80% off my users via social media i was make around £200 per month as a hobby while i was running my main company.

I had this about 8 months and then sold it and the guy that brought it off me destroyed it ie brought it thinking he can make millions just to find he made £300-500 per month and then took it offline as it was not making enough money for him!

I have lots more planned for this its mainly a testing platform for a better system i am building in my spare time.

I just brought a cheap script for $100 !! that i am planning to customise a bit and use !!

I have database that took me 2 years to put together of people who are intreasted in these types off websites to promote there business/social pages I have around 50,000 records ... I have emails 1,000 of them and got a 10% pre-sign up from just those emails users!

I dont have a domain yet but im working on that over the next few days !

what do people think? GOOD or BAD Idea?

Hi Chris,

What kind of 'exchange system' are you thinking of? Where you complete a task or follow someone on social for an allocation of points that you can then use to buy follows etc?

I'm sure that with the amount of records you have you'll get some traction there although I'd personally never recommend using such a system to build a social following.

Yes thats correct

I would never use it my self to build up my own network or customers for Social Click Marketing

I was just looking for some advise or if someone have done something like this before !!

Interesting. I would potentially steer clear of it then if I'm honest. I wouldn't want someone who's running my social campaign to be associated professionally with a product that builds an artificial social following if you see what I mean.

Will be interesting to see what others think of the system. I did use a similar blog syndication system before that rated each post and really added some credibility. That, in a professional setting with high quality content might be a different proposition.

Hi Dan,

Thanks for your advise i will have a think about it this small venture will not in anyway be linked to myself or my company i have an external party involved as well he will be mainly running it i am just a silent funder/partner.
