Hi guys would be interested to hear your take on an event from today.I appologise for this rather long story but i think its relevant in the who incident

I recently started up a new company and was in the process of developing a website to sell products from supplier A but unfortunately company A went into administration just as the website was near completion so we search for a new supplier, Supplier B unfortunately supplier B was unhelpful with providing information to put on our website, in the mean time supplier A was purchased by supplier C who then contacted us, so we put there products on the website so we could launch, the sales rep from supplier B literally went ballistic at me demanding we take down supplier C's products and that we could only sell supplier B's products (please bear in mind we never signed any contract) so we told supplier B we would not be using there products.

today I have received an email from a large organization asking about certain products, I replied with the information I then get another email which this time is marked it has come from the sales rep from company B so looks like company B's sales rep is pretending to be some other company in order to get information from us but we are unsure what his intentions are and if he is acting legally.......sorry if this is all confusing i'm open to any questions you have

From the information provided it doesn't sound like anything illegal has been done. Just very odd behaviour!

Have they done anything that has made you think they are acting illegally in anyway?

the only thing is they are pretending to be a different person and company in order to get information about prices of products I'm selling from my supplier... the daft thing is the information is in the open so I've no idea why they have done this or what there intentions are
