Advice re setting up Mail order Telephone Order (MOTO) Advice

Hi guys - Just looking for some advice re adding MOTO services to my website. The problem I have is that I run my online business as an addition to my full time day job so I am unable to take telephone enquires/ sales.

This is something, quite rightly, I get asked quite a lot by potential customers and I have to explain the reason why currently I do not offer this service.

Does anyone know of a way I could offer a sales line for the website but freelance this out but then I don't know how orders would be processed as the 'freelancer' wouldn't have access to a Virtual Terminal etc?

Any ideas would be greatly welcomed.

Hmmm, this might be a tricky one as the terminal (Virtual or otherwise) would be registered to your business. I am not sure if you would be allowed to have anyone outside the business use the terminal to take payments without employing them. I would suggest speaking to your bank about setting this up. If you get the nod for a merchant account then you might want to consider using our low cost Virtual Terminal - just £10 per month including 300 transactions.

Alternatively, you could provide an E-Commerce option on your website, removing the need for anyone to physically take the payments. Or you could state in your T&C's that you will call between certain times in order to take payments.
