Hi all just wondering how a chargeback usually works on a business account as we have had our first chargeback

Does the bank close the account or what is the process when a customer does a chargeback for their funds through the bank?

Thank you in advance

All that normally happens is the bank refunds the customer if the dispute is upheld. No further action is normally taken by the bank.

As per the reply above.

It is simply the fact that someone has disputed a charge, and it has been upheld. How, and whether, you can appear this will depend slightly on the provider. Usually you do have at least some options to do this if you feel strongly enough about it.

There are no repercussions for you beyond the chargeback.
