Hi all, I would really appreciate anyone's help in advising how I could promote our educational programmes to schools either during school hours, after school or holidays.

Has anyone had any experience trying to promote their services to schools and can offer any advice.

Thanks in advance

Hi thanks for your reply, the programmes range from children in key stage 1-3, including the usual academic subjects including booster sessions and study skills, sports, arts and crafts and other extra curriculum activities.

Hi sr1980. Sorry for my delayed response to this. There are businesses that specialise in supporting schools marketing campaigns. They will be able to advise you on who to target, the best time, day, etc. You could try School Mailings. I know they collect Schools Data and can help.

Essentially, you need to find the right target for your product, get some initial feedback from them and determine your marketing from there. One thing I would add is that Schools do like to receive something 'free'. This could be a free product sample or similar, but it will allow you to get the crucial data that you need to develop your product.

Hope this helps.

Hi sr1980, this is a significant part of my business and I'd be happy to provide some advice on the best ways to engage with schools. I see that you haven't posted for some time, feel free to reply or pm if you are still looking for guidance.

Thanks,
Daniel

I always recommend using inbound marketing methods to gain new clients. utilize tools like Linkedin and find out where the decision makers are getting their information and get into that medium. Then take time to do things like posting helpful blogs, making youtube videos and doing other selfless things and pay it forward first. Clients will find you to an expert and will come to you looking to do business with your firm.
