Good morning,
I am currently looking for options of purchasing from and selling to EU.

I have an offer from company in Germany and am not quite sure of the legalities.

They offer a post box address in Germany for a company in UK. They offer also a delivery address (the postal address) where they receive my EU purchased products. They then offer to pack and send my products to my EU customers all for a decent price.

My question is will this save on import and export duties, customs. Can I send my invoice to my customers from a post office box address in Germany and receive payments into my UK company account or do I need to send my invoices from my UK company address.

Any answers would be appreciated

The right way to do this is to set up a company in the EU and use that company to buy and sell products which are remaining within the EU. There would be no problem using a third party to handle distribution.

Just using a UK company and a PO box in the EU will likely lead to problems down the road.

If this is something you are seriously considering take advice from a solicitor specialising in EU trade law, a few hours consultation and a few hundred pounds to work out the viability now will save you a lot of money and headaches down the road.
