Hi I am after some advise in what I can do now regarding my customer base.
I run a small electrical and mechanical engineering company covering the independent food industry. Service, repair, breakdown and PAT testing, for butchers, bakers etc..........

I have a good quality web site ww. cw-se. com
I have used flyer's delivered by hand in my local area which has resulted in about six clients.
I am wanting to go more national now and was wondering which was the best way to spread the word of my services.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

Many ways of going about it...you could try getting in touch with a marketing company if you have budget available for this!

You could do a direct mail shot, telemarketing campaign, e-mail campaign...

Drop me a PM if you want to chat more about it, I can help if you want ;)

Either way...wishing you all the best...

Facebook advertising will not be where your ideal market "hangs out". You should ensure that you have a SOLID LinkedIn profile and I would suggest using the LinkedIn platform to advertise to TARGETED businesses. It would be more costly than a Facebook campaign but you will find more success as you will be targeting the actual businesses you want to work with.

Targeted advertising is key! And since your business is selling to other businesses, they will be better found on LinkedIn than Facebook.

I would set up a stand at a trade show relevant to the sector.
Ask your current clients if they would be prepared to offer a refferal scheme i.e. offer a discount or something for every refferal they put your way.
Word of mouth is the most powerful tool, get people talking about you.
