Has anyone ever advertised on an internet radio site?

Have recently been offered what seems to be a great deal to advertise on a station and the listener numbers they are quoting are great.

Basically they have around 100,000 listener tune ins monthly, the vast majority from the UK and the balance from the rest of the world.

They are offering me 30 days "free" advertising with only the cost of the radio ad to be met, which is £84.

There is no contract, no credit card rip off required and if we want to carry on advertising with them, they say it will be around £300 a month.

Does this sound too good to be true to anyone?

We'll also get a button ad and link on the homepage as well.

If anyone has ever advertised on internet radio before or has any experience at all, could you please comment?

Thanks

Would depend on a couple of items I think. Are your potential customers listening to that station? Are the ads going to be put out at times where there are high volumes of listeners, assuming the previous answer is yes? Are the ads going to reach potential customers that don't already know of your business/offers?
