Hi guys, Just putting this out there to see if there's any advice or info on starting this as a part time business. Basically you buy a trailer of the internet which attaches to your cycle which you then 'sell' as advertising space and cycle around making money??
Just trying to gather info and opinions for now, any of which gratefully received.
Many thanks
Mark.

Are you looking at this from the point of view of you being the earning cyclist, the trailer seller, or the advertising space seller?

Advertising rates for city bike schemes are about £25 per bike, per month so I dont see the earning potential for a singular cyclist if the going rate for a months exposure is just £25 per month. The gig economy cyclist can earn more from Deliveroo, if their intention is to earn whilst cycling.

But hey, thats just my view.

I have seen literally 4 bike trailers in my life, so this seems a tiny niche. I would not, as a business adviser, think it has any potential at all.

The city centre bike sponsorship schemes have more potential, of course, and are reasonable well established in a number of larger cities already.
