Besides:
door to door flyers
posting on Gumtree/Shpock
Current customers referring new customers

What other ways would you advertise a commercial and domestic cleaning company (offices/houses/end of tenancy/windows/bins etc.)

Your ideas would be welcome and maybe explain how I can archieve the idea, i.e approach face to face /cold call etc.

Thank you

Just a few additional ideas:
  • Advertising on your vehicle(s) (beware of any motor insurance changes)
  • Ad listings in local magazines etc
  • A website and Google Business Listing, to pick up organic traffic from people searching "cleaning services <your area>"
The domestic side of things is probably going to be more inbound marketing whereas the commercial side of things can probably benefit from some outbound marketing, cold calling the lettings agencies etc.

How do you find things?

If you wanted someone to fix the washing machine, cut the grass or wash your car, where would you look?

I often ask people if they know someone. If not I go straight to google. If I can't find what I want I may look elsewhere but most of the time Google finds me someone local.

So to sum up.....plus some additions from me:
  1. Door to door flyers
  2. Current customers referring new customers
  3. Advertising on your vehicle(s) (beware of any motor insurance changes)
  4. Ad listings in local magazines etc
  5. A website and Google Business Listing, to pick up organic traffic from people searching "cleaning services <your area>"
  6. Facebook & Google advertising
  7. Email to local estate agents (combined with further email marketing perhaps)
  8. Letters/Flyers to existing customers to offer a discount to them and their friends on their next 'job'.
  9. Emails and calls to property management companies in your area.
