Hi All

I've been working on my business over the last few months and I have finally got to a point where I personally feel its time to start to market and advertise the business to get consumers/customers aware of the business and the service it offers online.

Now I've got social media pages for example on facebook, twitter and linkedn and I'm also attending a few expos to hand out leaflets ect and I also have 4 radio interviews and advertising sessions lined up for the next coming weeks, obviously I'm working on a budget until I start to get customers aware of the business and using it, but is there any other marketing/strategies I can do whilst still keep within a reasonably low budget?

thanks guys :)

If you've got a presence on the social networks, leverage it. Instead of just having a page, have a contest/giveaway/promotion. Share a mention about the giveaway with the freebie/contest/giveaway sites. A positive endorsement from an established member of a forum such as those could catapult your mention into several thousand visitors (with relative ease).

If you haven't used events sites, consider listing a couple of these as events and linking via those sites. Platform diversity, added exposure, quick win.

Get the podcasts of those radio interviews, which the stations will surely have linked on the web, and circulate those URL's. Get people who time-shift their content to uptake and connect socially.

Bottom line is simply extend what you're already doing where possible, and add a bit of diversity to the channels.
