hi, I am looking to put a small ad in the Sun probably 3x1 anyone know how I can get a good price on this? I do not want to pay rate card!

Used to advertise with them years ago and really need a boost at mo so was thinking to retry for a while but cannot seem to find out any prices. Currently have a cheap ad in the Mirror but doesnt seem to be getting much attention at moment.

Can anyone help with prices or know of any agency we could try, will consider other papers or magazines too if cheap enough.

If you have a Facebook page why don't you try posting on local college sites and links. I'm not sure were you're located, but you are welcome to post on our page. Our demographic is 13 - 30, we've got 3,000 fans/friends, half just at the right age to want to learn to drive. Also post on local radio, newspaper. If you put an offer for our friends/fans I'm sure you'll get some interest. Our page is Darkstar:Ultimate Laser Arena. We are based in St Helens. If you're not local to us look up a local attraction and approach them.
I think newspaper ads are very expensive and I find we get very little return on them. If your trying to reach teenagers keep in mind, very few read newspapers, listen to the radio (Ipods!) or even watch that much TV, So social media might work best for you.

Hi,

Have you ever thought of using a PR agency/consultant to get you press coverage in the nationals, rather than paying for an ad?

You might consider editorial coverage to be of higher value to you as a company? A good public relations firm will be able to quickly advise you as to whether your company has a good enough story within it to give you the chance of winning national media coverage.

Best wishes,

Adam
